Merman has been around for centuries, and has had just about enough of all of the humans and trash that they keep polluting the fjords with. It was bad enough when the Vikings used to dump the battle armor and swords when the won or lost a sea battle into the fjord, but know there is just too much. Brown water, trash the size of houses, and mining companies are now dumping their waste into his beloved fjord. By using the Diesels, Merman can possibly get rid of the humans, once and for all.
