Over Sagas & Myths

Fjord Trolls is an action-packed series, for families and children in the ages of 7-9 years. Niko (9) and Vilja(12), spend their summer exploring the fishing cottages of a small town located along the coastline of one of the World’s largest fjords, Sognefjord. Steeped in a supernatural history, Sognefjord is home to unique creatures called Fjord Trolls. When the world of Fjord Trolls and the children collide, fantasy filled adventure comes to life. The Fjord Trolls are threatened by evil monsters, called Diesels that use trash and other items discarded by humans to sabotage anything the Fjord Trolls stand for. By learning about the environment and helping the fjord trolls, the pair find out that Sognefjord is truly magical.

Inspiration for Fjord Trolls comes from the written stories and sagas of Vikings, and much more, reaching deep into Norwegian history.

Fjord Trolls are the wonderful creatures that decorate all of the bus stops located along Sognefjord, from Lavik to Sogndal. These bus stops lighten the day to day concrete walls that children spend time waiting for buses. These public works have now been developed to Fjord Trolls animation that is anchored to the SAGAS and Myths from this region which spans back for centuries.
